After experimenting with beat and pop in the '60s, Koray fully embraced the underground, eventually releasing his game-changing self-titled debut in 1973. A landmark release, it seamlessly weaves fuzzed-out guitar work, Anatolian folk melodies, R&B grooves, and raw psychedelia into something entirely unique. A cornerstone of Turkey's countercultural sound.
