Simon & Garfunkel were the most successful duo of the 60s. And they were (measured by record sales) also the most successful duo of the 70s, 80s and 90s, although the two had been going their separate ways since 1970. This was due to the long-plays "Sound Of Silence", "The Graduate" and especially "Bridge Over Troubled Water", which ensured the duo fantastic record sales to this day. The duo owed this to the included hits "The Boxer", "Cecilia", "El Condor Pasa" and of course the title song.
